Director - Annamarie Saarinen
Annamarie has held leadership posts as director of marketing & communications
for the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce, the state’s largest business
advocacy and lobbying organization and Minneapolis-based International
Market Square. She also has a background in broadcast journalism, serving
as a reporter and producer for NBC and ABC affiliates in Minneapolis,
Des Moines, and Kansas City. Active in civic and charitable endeavors,
Annamarie serves on the board of directors for Artspace Projects, a
national non-profit developing affordable live-work spaces for artists
and their families. She founded Mother to Mother Charitable League in
1995 and still leads volunteer efforts to bring newborn essentials to
new mothers while they are still in the hospital. Annamarie also coaches
youth basketball and is actively involved in the steering committees
for the Minnesota Shubert Performing Arts & Education Center, Smile
Network International, the Sustainable Healthcare Enterprise Foundation
(SHEF), NAIOP and Children’s Heartlink.
